Face and body skin care oils
Oils have been used for centuries due to their healing effects, and also to maintain the skin. There are numerous advantages for using the face and body skin care oils, but it is necessary to adjust them to the appropriate skin type. Plant and essential oils nourish and feed the skin thanks to the high concentration of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, lecithin and flavonoids.
Coconut oil is best for the greasy skin prone to acne, due to its high content of lauric acid, and that oil contains antibacterial components also. However, excessive use by persons with normal skin can cause increased face and body skin dryness.
Hyperici oil (St. John’s Wort Oil) is beneficial for burns and during healing of any skin wounds. It reduces inflammation and supports the development of new skin cells.
Argan oil is best for dry skin due to high content of vitamin E, linoleic acid and carotene. Due to its mild anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties it can also be used on the gentle skin of children.
Olive oil is known for its multiple beneficial properties. It is extremely rich in vitamins A and E. It is useful for dry skin and gives it softness and shine.
Almond oil is useful to the skin of women who breastfeed, it regenerates dry and cracked skin fast, it’s rich in nutrients and vitamin E. This oil is absorbed very well through the skin and is often used in pharmaceutical industry to produce various creams.
Cocoa butter is an efficient option for treating bruises and scars because it improves cellular metabolism and capillary circulation. It is used to reduce wrinkles, and it improves hair and scalp hydration.
Sesame oil contains vitamins A, B1, B6 and E. Its good feature and high stability come from high content of sesamol antioxidant. Sesame oil is good for dry skin and problems like psoriasis and eczemas.
Grape and avocado oil
Grape and avocado oil mixed with sea salt and a few drops of grapefruit essential oil is an excellent means of fighting cellulite. This combination contains high content of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Grape oil acts antiallergenic and it can also be used with oily and sensitive skin.
Palm oil has a characteristic red color and contains vitamins A and C. The redder the oil, more beta carotenes it contains and they are a source of vitamin A. This oil is one of basic ingredients for cream production in cosmetic industry.
